Our Call For Legal Support

Strengthening Our Relatives: A Sequel to the "Immigrant" Justice Prayer Walk

On October 4, we will come together to offer Immigrant Safety Plans — including Power of Attorney documents — to help protect children and keep families together.

This past May, many of us came together in prayer and solidarity for immigrant justice during the Indigenous Prayer Walk. From that powerful day, a circle of organizers has continued to walk together, seeking ways to support and protect our undocumented relatives.

We are grateful to share that on Saturday, October 4, from 2–5 PM in Seattle, we will be hosting Strengthening Our Relatives — the first in a series of free community legal clinics. This gathering will include:

• A shared community meal

• Free support for families to prepare Immigrant Safety Plans, with Power of Attorney documents as one essential part of that process — helping ensure children can remain with loved ones in the event of detention or deportation
• Attorneys and notaries present to help families finalize documents

This event is rooted in our prayers and in our collective commitment to care for one another. It is a way of preparing our communities with dignity, love, and protection.

 How You Can Help
We need the strength of the whole community to make this possible. Attorneys, notaries, interpreters, and community members are invited to step forward in support. Please RSVP and let us know how you would like to participate:

We hope you will join us in this work. Together, across spiritual traditions and communities, we can protect our families and strengthen our relatives.

All Our Relations.

Answer the sacred call to protect our families.

On May 3, 2025, we walked together in prayer and solidarity for immigrant justice. That day, our voices and footsteps carried a promise — to keep building protection and support for our undocumented relatives. On October 4, we take the next step in that journey.
