Our Mission

We are communities of Coast Salish Territory (Seattle)  standing in solidarity with the undocumented community and affirming that they are not alone.

Details of the Prayer Walk:

Join our coalition of Indigenous, interracial, and intersectional community groups for an Indigenous-led prayer walk in solidarity with our relatives they call “immigrants.” Together, we will offer prayers and presence for our relatives facing attacks, displacement, and hardship.

We will begin our walk at 12 PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (5710 22nd Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107) with an opening prayer and circle. At 1 PM, we will begin walking toward Commodore Park, where a Water Ceremony will begin at 2 PM. From there, we will continue together toward Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center, arriving around 4 PM.

At Daybreak Star (5011 Bernie Whitebear Way, Seattle, WA 98199), we will break bread and share multilingual prayers, songs, and dances in a spirit of community and sacred solidarity.

The total walk is approximately 2.3 miles and will move at a slow pace to support elders and disabled community members. We will have car support along the route and shuttle service available between 5–6 PM to return people to St. Luke’s if needed.

If you would like to volunteer, offer supplies, make a donation or request advanced accommodations, please fill out this form:
